    Trivia Bits About Puzzles

Jigsaw puzzles first were educational toys for rich children, then they were hobbies for rich adults, and in 1908 jigsaw puzzles became a craze that swept across America, available to both the rich and the poor. In the Great Depression, puzzles were one of the affordable family entertainments, and in 1991 jigsaw puzzles went 3-D.

Think carefully before attempting some of the jigsaw puzzles of today, such as the 750 - piece borderless puzzle with an extra five puzzle pieces that don't fit anywhere in the puzzle.

Web clip art is clip art created for use on Web pages. This clip art has been created with pixels in GIF format for use as Web clip art. This Web clip art can, in some cases, be used for other purposes, such as scrapbooking, newsletters, or greeting cards, but changing the size of graphics created with pixels can cause image distortion. Shadowed images are for use on light or white backgrounds, while unshadowed images are for use on both light and dark background pages.
