Garage Sale Day PhotoIt takes a strong, determined, and organized human to have a garage sale. A one day garage sale is for whimps who drag some stuff into their front yard when the neighbor has a garage sale, take whatever is offered for anything and toss the rest into the garbage at the end of the day. But you are much more dedicated than that and plan on having your sale on both Saturday and Sunday. Better yet is to have your garage sale on the first Friday, Saturday AND Sunday of the first weekend in August.
Since National Garage Sale Day is always the second weekend in August and a great many garage sells will be held that wekend which would result in too much competition driving your prices down, so my suggestion would be to jump the gun and have your well organized sale with all items clearly priced on the first weekend of August.
